No Show/Late fees

We must discuss our Late/ No Show policy again.

We wish this did not continue to be an issue but it is proving to be a problem for some. We have many reasons that we could be running late for scheduled appointments. Other clients being late or not showing up should not be one of them. We are managing the needs of thousands of patients. We also have urgent and emergency situations that arise on any given day.

Please have the courtesy to call or email if you are running late or are unable to make your appointment.

We do not charge fees if we are having dangerous weather conditions or if you let us know that you are dealing with a personal emergency or a flat tire.

If you have an appointment scheduled for 10:00 am and we have another client booked at 10:30 am and you don't arrive until 10:20 am or 10:30 am then we have a problem.

 We can often get behind because some appointments turn into something more serious than originally thought and require x-rays or bloodwork, etc. We should not get behind because a few clients are late. Your being late or not showing up means that we have not been able to offer medical care for someone else's pet. We ask for everyone's cooperation and understanding with this issue.
